Brain-training, the latest en vogue term for what most people call “learning,” is a hot topic for SEO’s. Not because it is part and parcel with what we do everyday, but because it sounds really cool and trendy, which is our sort of thing. Also experts (Dingy) agree, “brain training” has a nice ring to it.
Whether you call it brain training, cognitive coaching, or simply learning, you can increase rankings and get better results for clients by training your brain. Or as our resident digital-messiah-sage, Dingy, likes to say “There’s gain in the pain of training your brain, a-gain and a-gain, in Spain on the main plain.” So with that insightful eloquence in mind, here are 5 reasons to train your brain.
1) You’re not that smart to begin with – Look at you, reading this article on how to become smart. You know who reads articles on how to be smart? Dumb people, that’s whom. Smart people don’t have to read these blatant truisms.
2) Your education doesn’t stop at your diploma – Despite learning everything you really needed to know in kindergarten, and that *special* episode of Pokemon, learning actually continues throughout your life. Granted, life lessons are often followed by or in prelude to financial loss, emotional pain, abject failure, manic depression, imprisonment and homelessness – but their value is priceless.
3) Repetition is the mother of skill – As a dumb person, you know how hard it can be to train your brain. By practicing brain training you may actually learn how to learn, or at least fake it. Practice won’t make perfect, but it can make you not a complete dope.

4) If it rhymes all the times, don’t have a fit, because that makes it legit – “Brain” and “train” rhyme and therefore brain training is pretty important. Whether it’s the man from Nantucket or someone who is “down-to-clown,” rhyming is essential to make something banal become worthwh-arl.
5) Knowledge is power – The only things more powerful than knowledge are: money, influence, actual power, military force, economic market manipulation, and the 5 types of thought listed above knowledge in Bloom’s taxonomy (comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation), apart from that knowledge will take you all the way to the top… pop. (see #4).
