I’m sure we’re all fully aware of the hugely controversial topic that’s been all the talk on 3 people’s social network posts. As it’s generated a great deal of venom and indignation on both sides we thought that it was time to bring it out into the open on WTFSEO and give both sides the opportunity to express why they’re for or against this topic that’s causing a gigantic rift in the community.
Naturally, as an impartial observer, WTFSEO will not be taking sides, but will instead be monetizing the page views allowing both sides to speak their opinions.
On the Pro side we have one industry veteran, and on the opposing side, another industry veteran
Q: Why do you feel that this topic is important to address?
Pro: Because if we don’t talk about this issue, then others will decide for themselves on it, by which point we’ll not be unified, which will ultimately lead to chaos, disaster, and the end of civilization as we know it.
Anti: We’ve not needed to address it before, and we don’t need to now. It’s obvious that the Pro side have an agenda which will operate against everything that we hold dear and ultimately lead to chaos, disaster, and the end of civilization as we know it.
Q: What led to the topic being brought up in the first place?
Pro: It’s a grass roots effort that was brought up by the grass roots organizations, who approached us to lead the discussion on the topic.
Anti: The Pro side clearly haven’t talked to the grass roots organizations and are pushing this topic forward because of their agenda.
Q: Why has this topic become so personal?
Pro: They started the personal attacks, they were completely unfounded because they basically don’t understand the topic.
Anti: They started the personal attacks, they were completely unfounded because they basically don’t understand the topic.
Q: For those that don’t know, would you explain the issues behind the topic?
Pro: Erm… I don’t… I think that… actually I’m not sure what the topic is, but the other side are completely wrong about it.
Anti: Was it something to do with the internet? I’m pretty sure it was, but regardless of the facts, the other side are completely wrong about it.
